Jobs in Skilled Trades

Although the automation degree has already gone higher, it remains more labor-intensive and requires problem-solving skills as compared to electricians, plumbers, and construction workers. In fact, these jobs require manual dexterity, spatial awareness, and day-to-day decision-making, which makes them very resistant to full automation.

While many jobs are changing due to the presence of AI, there remain more creative, empathetic complex problem solvers, and people with manual skills. Work in these fields will certainly change with the development of AI rather than being replaced by it.
